Hi Nikki, I know you wrote this blog many years ago but I've just read the whole thing, totally captivated and have loved every word. I have visited Guatemala a couple of times and am looking at working with artisans and fair trade groups there to product a line of products to sell in Australia. Somehow I stumbled across your work with Nest and your blog. Thank you so much for your thoughtful, intelligent words, you've really opened my eyes to the realities of working in Guatemala or any developing country. What an incredible experience you had and continue to do. Muchas gracias y saludos desde Australia!
